Dallas, Fort Worth, and Grand Prairie shelters need people who want to adopt or care for them.

Fort Worth, Texas — Many pets in northern Texas are waiting for “enthusiastic” homes because shelters have reached or are near capacity. Some animal shelters are exempt or reduce adoption costs.

North Texas Humane Society

HSNT states that all adoption centers have reached capacity.

Until Sunday, June 13th, HSNT will have a special event where all adult dogs over £ 35 are free to adopt at the HSNT Adoption Center.

Dallas Animal Services

Adoption of pets is free at Dallas Animal Services.

DAS currently offers direct adoption at the main shelter on 1818 Northwest Moreland Road from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm daily.

Grande Prairie Animal Service

Grande Prairie Animal Services is exempt from adoption fees until June 30th. That is, all adoptions are free. Walk-ins are welcome.

Texas SPCA-Dallas

SPCA is full and help is available. At Dallas and Ellis locations, adoption fees for dogs and cats over the age of 6 months are $ 25. Adoption is by appointment only.
